Atelier at the Bayerischer Hof, Munich: my evening at the grand hotel on Promenadeplatz

In September 2024 I spent a whole day at the Bayerischer Hof for my Munich city special, and in the evening I sat in the Atelier, the grand hotel's two-star restaurant. Anton Gschwendtner was cooking at the time, and I was welcomed by Daniela Heizmann and Shahzad Talukder. At the beginning of 2026 Anton Gschwendtner left the house, and Kevin Romes has been cooking here since. What you're reading is therefore a look back at an evening that has stayed with me.
