Im Schiffchen, Düsseldorf: at anchor in Kaiserswerth since 1977

When there was talk in autumn 2025 of the maestro stepping back, my reservation at the Schiffchen was already in the diary anyway. So I discussed the subject with Jean-Claude Bourgueil in person that evening. I have been writing about this house since 2016, and over all those years almost everything there has changed at some point. Only the man at the stove has always stayed the same.
