The trip to Ostwestfalen-Lippe was the furthest I travelled on my anniversary food tour. And speaking of travel: the timeline on Jan Diekjobst's website also bears witness to a long and, above all, impressive journey that Jan can look back on in his career.

It first took him to the two-star restaurants of Thomas Martin in Hamburg and Dieter Koschina in Portugal, before he spent what was probably his most formative time in the culinary Champions League with Christian Bau in Perl-Nennig and Kevin Fehling in Hamburg.
